The Grande Festival was an event called by the Minghondian government called into life to celebrate their victory in the War of Rancor and the annexation of the city Minghonda. It is in part an event for celebration, but in other parts an attempt to have foreign travelers bring money into the Minghondian economy - which had been burdened by the war -- and in other part a way for the fresh government to explore political ties with the neighboring city-states.
The festivities involve dancers, cabaret, outside banquets and gladiator games in the Arena Stadium.
